Pinyon Jays

The pinon jays come in flocks throughout the year. They are beautiful birds, funny to watch, and very noisey. A big flock can empty a feeder in an hour or so.

Thanksgiving 2005

Beautiful, crisp frost on this pristine morning. The traditional dinner. Now the rain has set in and it is much warmer. Up to almost 50 degrees today!

Donner's First Snow

Donner loved it. We walked early in the morning to the upper property. He found a frozen, dead kangaroo rat that was a lot of fun for him until I got it away. Harley took the route through the sage and got a lot of hunting for rabbits done. They didn't want to come home. Then Gary and I rode Stryker with the dogs through the entire property. Beautiful morning!
